Designer Bruce Munro has laid out 600,000 CDs on the grass in a Wiltshire field in the UK.
Called “CDSea”, the installation forms a pattern with a path meandering across it.
It’s the first of a number of self-funded installations using discarded or recycled materials, planned for Long Knoll Field, which is bisected by a public footpath making it a natural public art gallery.
